3 Quick Moves for Blab.im Social Media Success

I’ve been using Blab.im for quite a while now. Today we are going to cover three quick moves to get your message out there.

  1. Record your blab– Blab makes it insanely easy to record what you share.  After you start your blab it’s in the upper left to start and end your recording.  Your video will be stored for free.
  2.  Upload to Youtube– One click will upload your video to Youtube.  I love this feature.  After your show has ended just find your recorded show.  I just use the search box for “Legacy Hour”, the name of our show to find it.  I click on it and then on the left hand side I press “Upload to Youtube”.  Amazingly easy.
  3. Download the Audio from an Email from Blab– After recording your show and it has ended, eventually an email will arrive in your registered email with blab.  You can download the audio and video from here.  The audio is in mp3 format and you can easily upload it to a Podcast Site.

That’s it!  Three quick moves to get your message out with blab.

Do What You Love, and it’s the PLAN that follows

        Do What You Love, Plan, Execute, then the Money Will Follow

I’m biting off a pretty big piece of meat here.  It’s a very involved subject.  I think a whole book could be written about it, but, we’re just gonna keep it short.  I’ll also keep it geared towards our industry, however, it’s implications are far and wide.

People love to say do what you love and the money will followI think the statement is incomplete, confusing, and misleading.  It should be Do What You Love, Plan, Execute, then the Money Follows.

LOVE

Let’s take the example that you love playing the guitar.  First, you need to master what you love.  Not all people that practice very hard at the guitar will become virtuoso’s.  I do believe with a lot of practice that most of us will become really good guitar players.  Just as I believe that with practice, many of us can become really good at an online specialty(business).

PLAN

   Being pretty good at something is where business takes over.  Now how many connections do you have for the business.  Who do you know?  Do you understand that you have to go out and meet like minded people.  You need to go out and find a band just like you need to find a supportive group for your online business.  So go network, your business will thank you for it.

Next, you have to market yourself.  You have to promote.  In the beginning nobody knows about you.  This is why everyone is in selling whether they like it or not.  People buy you the guitar player or support You and Your online specialty.

DO

This is the take action part of the formula.  The journey of 10,000 miles starts with one step.  Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.  Everybody makes them.  Execute your plan.  A great quote I read “Vision without Execution is Delusion”- Author Unknown  So get out there and start your business!

Taking this to our industry of traffic exchanges etc.  What do you love about it?  Do you love collecting Hot Bucks? Then how can you bring value to others to share in your passion?  Maybe you want to collect email addresses and tell them where the best places are to find them. Maybe you will explain the different kinds and the leader board contest. Perhaps you love traffic exchanges so much you want to start your own. If so read all about our journey here.

So you see there is a little more to it than just do what you love.

Meet People Where THEY are at & Cater to Your Strengths

Why even do social media as a marketer? Duh, that is where ton’s of people are and a good message can be spread quickly for free. Today we’ll talk about using multiple platforms to reach people. The reason we do it is we want to find people where THEY are comfortable and hang out. If people hang out on facebook then I need to be there. If it’s twitter then I need to be there. You get the point. However, at what point does it become too time consuming to try and be EVERYWHERE?

I currently am dedicated to Twitter and Blab, a video platform. But, I also have a presence on Facebook, Linkedin, and YouTube. Of course, I am probably at places not listed, but, this brings up the point. I shouldn’t try to be absolutely everywhere. It would cost too much time and not have enough return.

I am satisfied hitting the big ones and concentrating where I feel comfortable and strong. I encourage you to make a presence on the traditional social media platforms and to find where you fit in the best. It will help your business grow.

Your Unsuccess isn’t because of Unavailable Traffic

As a surfer I can generate over 2,000 credits in an hour.  You can purchase 1,000’s of credits, especially at the Legacy sites, for the price of a cup of coffee. So getting enough traffic shouldn’t EVER be a problem.

Getting exposure in many sites shouldn’t EVER be a problem either. The Legacy Team Coop and Rapid Fire Ads are free traffic cooperation sites.  The members inside it work together to produce a diverse, spread out exposure to 100’s of sites.

What is more of a decision is what to advertise and how.  Your most important choice starts with affiliate product selection and/or Your Website.  Why?  It’s because all of your work promoting leads back to the proper selection.  Would you set up a lemonade stand with just an empty pitcher sitting there and walk all over town posting signs that your lemonade stand is open.  See what I mean?

Now how good of a sign are you going to post for your lemonade stand?  A 5 inch by 5 inch sign with sloppy letters lemonade stand open… No of course not.  Then don’t do it in traffic exchanges or mailers either.  If your new or not experienced then pay someone to design your advertisement.  You can pay from $6 to $50 or even more I’m sure to design one.  I’ll do a page(reasonable quality) for $6, only one per person, if your in a bind.  With experience you could use a program like Adkreator.

Guess what?  Even a reasonable splash page could do poorly.  It’s very important what the page looks like and what it says.  That is why there is easy tracking software to use, Trck.me.  Some advertising concepts might be specific to where your showing them.

Lastly, if you want to increase your results, participate in the community.  Make connections in traffic exchange chats, skype, facebook, and twitter with the like minded people in the industry.  People seeing your ad after they get to know you increases familiarity and potency of your ad.

Turn People On Not Off – Your Brand with Value

Greetings,

Building your brand is a big deal to your business. But, instead of using the word brand and being vague, let’s define it.
I like to think of brand as presence. I also like to think brand is about recognizing value with YOU.

Now we can brand ourselves with a picture, name, logo, and/or video. A successful brand is one where it is seen and it is connected with strong value.

As a beginner, or relatively new person, I would suggest presenting your target audience with something of very specific value.

A broad subject you won’t have enough experience with and there is also competition in more general fields.  As a first project, you might be the master of the Legacyhits traffic exchange.  Your face, name, and/or video is seen all over connected with Legacyhits and you deliver a masterful understanding and break down of the traffic exchange’s features(the Value).

You back a good program, start to gain trust, your giving value, and then what?

Then you take on another small project or a little broader subject and the snowball of your success is on it’s way.

Did you know value has so many forms?  Have you thought of all these?
1. Clear, Easy to Absorb Information
2. Free Software, or after you have established trust, a paid software suggestion
3. Entertainment
4. Hospitality- Are you respectful, listen, and kind. That’s a value too!

When we become trusted and liked by providing value, then this in a way, grants us permission to make thoughtful suggestions that may lead to sales.
