What challenge does this present to us as marketers? The obvious answer is get the job done fast.  Striking images, catchy text, and videos have always been important, but now it’s becoming harder and harder to keep someones attention. As long as your aware of the issue then you can spend more time focusing on the quality needed. The climate is asking you to step up and be creative.

3 Ways to Thrive in the Goldfish Market

1. Take the time to use very visual, catchy pictures.  A picture says a 1,000 words and people are wanting to consume information fast.

2. Use quality videos to capture peoples attention.  Make sure you bring them in fast.  A Study from the New York Times revealed 19.4% visitors to a video leave before 10 seconds.  It stands to reason it’s gotten worse.

3. What better way to fascinate people then with Live Steaming Video.  Take advantage of peoples love for video and pack a double punch by bringing them a live event.  With things like periscope and snapchat going crazy big you should get on the boat too.

Be ready for the big challenge in 2016 of adding visual master pieces, Hollywood quality videos, live action, and creative genius to market to a population of people that well… have the attention span of less than a goldfish!
